Our Story

Emory and Zephan met in the Computer Science and Engineering program at the University of Notre Dame. In mid-March of 2020, Emory and Zephan had their first date at Let’s Spoon, a frozen yogurt shop near campus. Soon after, Notre Dame had a longer-than-expected Spring Break due to the pandemic. Zephan and Emory reunited during the Fall of their senior year. After graduating, Emory and Zephan moved in together into a 100-year-old house along the Saint Joseph River in South Bend, IN.

In April 2024, Emory and Zephan visited one of their best friends in Wichita Falls, TX. While hiking near a beautiful waterfall (and some snakes), Emory proposed to Zephan… and he said yes!
